I don't really have a style in mind, I'm just trusting in the principle that if I choose things I like, they'll all fit together somehow.
I'm starting with a non-junk chaise. I figure this will be my only big ticket item, and it is the most important piece in the room, so it's worth it. Now I'm on to the fun part - the junkin'!

I saw these little dolls at one of my favorite junkin' haunts, Main St. Station, here in Grapevine, TX. The one on the left is wearing 100+ year old clothes, but it was the little beauty on the right that touched my soul. She has real sheep's wool for hair and a cool old-style nail sewn on for her nose. She will be quite the writing muse.
Then yesterday, I found this little egg box at an antique store a couple towns over. Fellow Jezebel, Barb, says this was a symbolic purchase and represents all the story incubation and hatching I'll be doing in the room. I'm not sure my subconscious is that deep, but now that she's said it, I'm owning it!
